Shyanne Mortimer Lead Litigation Paralegal

Shyanne was born in Concord, California where she lived for the earlier parts of her life before moving to Fresno California. In 2018 she graduated from Clovis West High School and continued her education at her local private college, Fresno Pacific University. She graduated a year early in 2020 with her Bachelor's Degree in English and an emphasis in classic literature. She is a first generation
college graduate and used this as fuel to pursue her education further. In 2021 she attended the University of San Diego and obtained an ABA- approved Paralegal Certificate. She immediately chose a career field in family law. Shyanne has always felt a love and passion towards literature, learning to read at an early age and sneaking to the library during any free moment. She made the decision of going to law school after witnessing her parents battle a messy divorce herself. It is her ultimate passion to help everyone navigate the Court system and find support in difficult times. She also feels greatly empathetic towards all families unique circumstances and is fueled by her empathy to show her client's support and compassion. Family is one of the most important values in her life and she cherishes quality time with those around her. In her spare time, she enjoys reading by the beach. Her favorite book is The Awakening by Kate Chopin. She also enjoys attending sporting events, with basketball games as her favorite, and loves reality tv. All of these independent qualities allow her to bring a unique view to our firm.
